  I WISH I HAD LISTENED TO THE REVIEWS!!!!. Place was disgustingly run down inside! I don’t mind a dive, but looking behind the counter where they were cooking made me sick. The eating area was horrible also. They make sure you know that your burger is going to take a long time by all the signs on the counter. The owner Stamps ex-wife and some loud woman behind the counter were talking loudly about customers and personal things and it was annoying. I finally got my burger and fries, called in order by the way and it was ready when I got there 30 mins later. Fries were over cooked to the point of being almost burned. Not like the old Stamps fries that were awesome. Burger was not good at all. Funny thing is While I sat and choked down this burger, there were people waiting on their food that had been there since before I walked in the door. I was there eating about 40-45 mins. This place is not Stamps and I would steer clear of this place and if I were Cool Al, I would sue to have my face and name removed from this place

  Rude & untrained employees. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I was on the phone over 15 minutes placing a simple order. The employee didn’t know the menu, then another employee took over the call and still wasn’t sure about anything. ALL I wanted was cheese on my burger, and I was told something totally different from what’s on the menu. UGHHH!!!!

  Horrible customer service. Very poor customer service and management. They encourage you to check your order for accuracy but if it’s not accurate, it’s as if you’re wrong for even pointing it out. And that’s after waiting an hour even though they told you 15 minutes! The female manager is the worst and has a horrible attitude. I will be taking my money elsewhere and encouraging others to do so because it’s not always about content, it’s about character behind your brand as well. Never forget where you came from and what helped you to get there. I am so disappointed.

  Really great burger. This was 1 of the best burgers i’ve had in a while. Got the bacon, mushroom, onion burger…wow! Must try the fried mushrooms & sweet potato fries, they are fab!

  Best. Burger. Ever.. Seriously. Not being over-dramatic here. I will say that I have lived all over the place and love to try local restaurants where ever and whenever I travel. Let me just say that I did not expect to find probably the best veggie burger I’ve had in Jackson, MS. Don’t let the dive-y ambiance deter you from coming here. It’s worth it. I also have it on good authority that the meat burgers are pretty damn awesome as well.

  The wait is ridiculous I could have gone to fine dining faster. I order three burgers and two sides…I have been here for 30minutes now and 4 people after me have been served and left… This is ridiculous and will definitely make me reconsider ever coming back…I wish I would have read the reviews before I made the decision to wait 30minutes and still not receive my food…

  Real burgers. Great experience. A friend and I stopped in Cool Al’s for lunch on the way to Memphis from New Orleans. We expected just a place to have a break and some lunch, but go so much more.The burgers were exceptional. The Jamaican burger was honestly one of the best tasting burgers I’ve ever eaten. This is not fast-food quality, but real, hearty food.The restaurant was tidy and had a great, relaxed vibe. Wish we could have stayed for longer, just to eat here again.Highly recommended!
