Old Nick’s building now banks Thai food- Surin. Upon entering, it is very serene and the staff is ready to accommodate you. The seating is is divided into tables and booths. The booths allow more intimacy with your group. We were able to sit (4) very comfortably. The drinks were tasty as they were beautiful. The menu was easy to understand. The servers were well versed in their food selections and provided helpful recommendations. The appetizers and soup arrived quickly. The garnishment and flavor was wonderful on everything we tried. My sea bass was excellent. I enjoyed this restaurant. I would like to go back and try different items in the future.
Very nice decor, good service, delicious, fresh food. Wife and I are huge fans of sushi and I love Thai, so it is nice to have a place offering a blend of both. The quality is very good for the price paid here. We will definitely be back and this will likely become my new go-to Asian cuisine in Jackson area.
I’ve been once for lunch and twice for dinner… Definitely my new favorite place! Crab Angels, sushi, and cashew stir fry is wonderful! I love trying the samples from the chef as well! Overall atmosphere is great!
So delicious! The lunch specials are an AMAZING deal, and the waiters are always friendly. I have tried something different every time and loved it all.
First time, and found Surin of Thailand outstanding from start to finish. Our waiter, Omar, was extremely courteous and attentive. The bartender mixed up the best Dirty Martinis we have ever tasted. The Best. The appetizers (potstickers and basil rolls) were absolutely amazing. The entrees (mixed seafood, and sea-bass) were great although the sea-bass may have been over cooked a couple of minutes. Surin will become a regular place to dine.
MAGNIFICENT!!!!. Surin of Thailand is just want Jackson, MS needed! The food was MAGNIFICENT, service was awesome, the atmosphere was appealing, and the martinis were thebomb.com! The only thing that I did not like about Surin was that I didn’t have enough room in my stomach to indulge some more. My first dining experience I tried the crab angels with sweet and sour sauce and it was an awesome starter. I had the shrimp curry for my entree’ and it was amazing!!! The shrimp, green curry, and vegetables were the perfect blend of spices, texture, and flavor. I fell in love! I think I’m going to move my belt a few notches because I can’t get enough of their delicious entree’s. YOU MUST GO BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!
