The people there are always super nice to us and their kids are super sweet. Love when they have the kids helping on the register (helps with their math skills). Food is always fresh and everything tastes good. Portion size is good for what you pay. We usually pick up but the times we ate in everything was clean. I am giving this a 5 because it’s good for what it is, an express hibachi place. This is not a place like Nagoya or Osaka and they don’t advertise as such so I don’t expect the quality or the service like I would there. It is a great place to get hibachi or some rolls that is close to home.

Guys, don’t be so negative. The food is good. The service might sometimes be bad, but the wait is worth it. The people there aren’t awful, either.
Delicious. I recommend the sushi, its made fresh and right on the spot! Add the combo special prices and its something you don’t want to miss!
The worst service!!!!!!!. Ordered takeout from this place. They packed over stuffed my bag to the point where my food wasted. The whole bag tore!!!!! And when I told the lady about it, she said the bag was fine when she gave it to me. Did not offer to replace my Oder or anything. I will never give them my business again. AWFUL PEOPLE!!!!!!
Very very inconsistent. Sometimes the food is pretty good and sometimes it’s like they don’t know how to make hibachi. The steak is also very tough and the veggies are normally undercooked.
The hibachi is pretty decent for an express restuarant. Much better than the other Japanese place in Byram. It is a bit pricey though in comparison to the well-known Japanese places in the surrounding areas.
