Ridiculously Overpriced. Though a beautiful place, I would never, never recommend this place for a wedding! They want an arm and a leg for everything they do. They false advertise this beautiful chapel…just a little building and plain….unless you want to spend lots of money doing something with it. The wanted a spot charge of $300… when we changed our mind to have it on the grass instead of the chapel, and you have to have special chairs. We were still going to be charged extra even with another group setting up. (They didn’t know the rules for flower petals, so had to get back to us.) You can not bring anything into the facility…even a cake, unless the person who made it has a certified license and kitchen. If you would like champage, you have to buy theirs at their cost….outrageous….The food gosh….the lowest quote we could get for food for 60 was $1,549! This did not include all the other fees associated building and set up….ect…..They even wanted a cake cutters fee, but we told them we could do that…The food included cheese and crackers, spinach dip with chips, cheese puffs, miniature bbq sandwiches and beverages of lemonade, iced tea, and coffee… With a note that we were advised there would not be enough food…huh??!! $1,549!!! We decided on the Banquet Hall in Bartlett for the reception and went with We deAllow Me A Personal Chef Service at 901 496 5982. We got the following for almost nothing, compared to what these people wanted, and the food was amazing…and the Bartlett Banquet hall is a nice place too….Had the wedding at the Municipal Park in Bartlett…free and beautiful… Japanese gardens. Beautiful property, awesome food. We had our office Christmas dinner at Bonne Terre last month and it was a good choice! Food was spectacular, everyone raved about the steak and the pistachio-crusted salmon, and although it was dark at that time, you could see that one portion of the restaurant overlooks the property with big, huge windows. And the menu changes seasonally–that’s fun!I got engaged there back in 2007 and I can vouch for the rooms too…they are so nice and I think most have private balconies. Nice for a little staycation!
