I tried Latitudes a few weeks ago. Since it was my first time, my waitress suggested the Philly Sandwich . I ordered mine without the peppers and mushrooms (and removed the lettuce and tomato) because, in my opinion, the meat, cheese, and onions on a Philly sandwich should speak for themselves. In this case, they did. It smelled wonderful, the steak was very flavorful and the onions gave it that perfect texture you expect from a really good Philly cheese steak sandwich. Not to mention the bread absorbed some of the juices from the meat, spreading that excellent flavor into each bite. The only negative was that the fries were under-cooked. Also, I almost passed this place because the sign is blocked from view when you’re going west on South Street (it’s in the South Street Live building). As for the restaurant itself, it is very dark inside, which made reading the menu difficult. Regardless, I’ll be back.
