Just a local roadhouse steakhouse but the steak (ribeye) was cooked correctly and was tender. Very good. Price was reasonable , not much atmosphere but friendly waitress. Would go back for a good steak.
The whole place looks, smells, and feels stuffy. Our waitress was nice but I actually heard another waitress arguing with a customer about getting her order wrong, very unprofessional. I ordered my filet medium and it was cooked just about well done. Also, I’m not a fan of getting canned drinks at restaurants. I’d recommend saving your money here.
Wine. When will the Sizzler allow ‘brown-bagging’ again like it did in the 80’s? Without this added attraction the Sizzler is nothing more than a Bonanza … ugh
Great meal! Can’t go wrong with 12 oz of red meat and a baked potato. Well worth the drive.
Terrible!!!!!!. The worst restaurant ever!! Food is barely eatable, over priced, the smell is hideous!!!
I totally miss this place!. At least once a week for 4 years, my ex-boyfriend and I would go to the Sizzler when we were in college. He would get the NY Strip or the ribeye, while I would get the sirloin. Never a complaint — and their homemade bleu cheese dressing was absolutely fantastic. Anytime I’m in Oxford, I try to make it by there if they’re open. And you can’t beat their prices..perfect for a college student’s budget. It’s about 6 miles from University Ave @ Hwy 7 on Hwy 6, but the extra few miles out of town is worth it.
Had the 8oz Filet MR and it tasted great. My wife also liked her Catfish filets. Good food!
