Every time I go there for the Gumbo which I should know better by now there is nothing but juice and rice no meat today I made it all the way back to work to realize I only had big hunks of okra and rice one baby shrimp and a couple of shavings of sausage yes shavings not pieces I called back the lady was helpful took it back for them to add meat but in the end it was to late wasted lunch time, gas and money If only I had time to stop at Mama’s Seafood in Orange Grove trust me the experience would have been way different p.s. I had to stop at a store to buy my own crackers for this mess who serves Gumbo without crackers

I love this place! I come here 3-4 times aweek just to gget the turkey necks. They’re Chinese plate is awesome too. The general Tso chicken is more chicken than batter. They could do better with their fried rice. Its not all that. The workers there are really friendly. Very easy to conversate. Headed that way now to Blazin Cajun 🙂

Forget Blazin, Hardly a Simmer. For a Cajun restaurant, it sure looked Asian. Had the 12-inch Shrimp Poboy and onion rings – nothing was blazin, in fact, I would call it hardly a simmer. Nothing distinctive about the flavor of either the sandwich or the onion rings. The poboy did not have the looks of an overstuffed poboy either. I got the poboy dressed, but they left off the tomato on mine. 2 shrimp poboys dressed and large onion rings came to $22.01 with tax.

I have been in this place varies times and they do accept credit cards as well as debit cards since the day that they open. The only thing they do not accept is EBT at this time. The food is exceptional delicious. If you want to taste some Louisiana style food, this is the place to go to.

I really wanted to try this place but was very disappointed after I went in and saw the sign that they do not accept debit cards. I think most people are like myself and very rarely have cash on them. It’s ridiculous this day in age for a company of any kind not to accept debit cards.
