We have been here probably a dozen times and brought friends here too. Always had great service, enjoyed our meals and felt the price was a good value. A friend was disappointed with the crab cake po boy. and the same day they were out of crawfish and the manager seemed to be in kind of a pissed off mood about that. other than that we have never come out unhappy.

Very disappointed as I was looking forward to the visit. Extremely poor and inexperienced service. Multiple issues with incorrect ordering and no table visits. Food was EXTREMELY disappointing. Fish looked like free samples, crawfish and shrimp look like peas. Portions were a joke for the price. Paid $61 then walked next door to McDonalds for the rest of supper. Too many good choices in Long Beach to waste time and money there.

Don’t over look the obvious, when you walk into a restaurant at what should be peak dining hours and it is empty turn around slowly and leave, But then that little voice in your head says come on they look friendly and the place is clean give them a try,Well that was the case with Cajun Crawfish Hut with the exception of the very friendly staff as the food was a big let down. The onion rings which the waitress said were homemade fresh each morning were the same taste and consistency if those frozen ones at Burger King, with maybe a little more breading. The oysters were almost the size of what we call popcorn shrimp here on the coast, very small, The poyboys despite the waitress telling us they were made on New Orleans Lidenhimer bread were made on a glorified bun and they were small to boot with not nearly enough roast beef on it. The roast beef gravy was of the consistency of gelatin and no doubt came from a large can from Sysco (a local institutional food supplier) food service. But the management and the staff were indeed very friendly and helpful so I am thinking it is the product which is below par. But what surprises me the most is all the 4 star reviews prior to mine on Google Reviews.
