I loved it back when it was in the harbor before the storm, I loved it in the shopping center, and I love it now. Everything is good, I love the Patty Melt, Cheesesteak, and Turkey and Cranberry. Heck even the burger is pretty darn good. You can’t go wrong here! GREAT SERVICE, nothing bad to say about anything!
I really enjoy this place. The atmosphere and staff are always very welcoming. The food is good, not OMG good, but still pretty tasty. I really enjoy their seafood soups, especially their gumbo. The place can get pretty noisy sometimes, which is pretty annoying, but their porch is a good place to sit and enjoy their fresh air.
This is probably the best place to eat in Long Beach and likely the best place in the area. Food is great, service is great, dessert is great, drinks are great, etc. This place is a MUST for everyone.
OK at best. Very noisy, good server, but had to track them down because they were also working the bar.Pre-formed burger patties, bland slaw, frozen fries. Friend’s pasta had what looked like canned or frozen tiny shrimp. Potato salad had raw potatoes in it.
Hours. I don’t know how the breakfast is – the web info doesn’t tell one that it is only on the WEEKEND!
Customer Saved. I frequent Long Beach regularly on business and am usually there for a week at a time. The Harbor View has become my go to place. The food has always been excellent and the service top notch. Last night (03/11) was the exception on service. I was seated by the hostess and given a menu. Ten or twelve minutes later, noticing the waitress hadnt been to the table, the hostess came back over , took my drink order and soon returned with my drink. Another ten or twelve minutes had passed when the Hostess returned and ask if my order had been taken. After telling her no, she promptly took my order and wasnt long brining me my salad. She later returned and cleared the salad plate and brought the bread basket. In between all of this she was scurrying around seating people and was even behind the bar helping out. She returned with my dinner and inquired if there was anything else I needed. This whole time waitresses kept passing my table, smiling and continuing on without a word. After the Hostess cleared my dinner plate another young lady brought my check, announced she was my waitress and apologized for not assisting me. It seems she was new and someone had called in sick and she was on her on. I understand these things happen and I sympathize with the young waitress. I will return and enjoy the restaurant in the future just on the dedication of the Hostess and her true desire to provide good service. I wish I would have gotten her name but she was busy with a large group as I was leaving. The manager, whom also passed my table several times, should recognize this young lady for the commitment she has to his business.
Love this place! Wine down Wednesdays are the best bathe prime rib is excellent. Best kept secret in Long Beach!!!
