Tortilla soup. Most uneventful soup I have ever had… If u ever thought what a bar mat drink tasted like, well the soup tasted like what eft over salsa and enchiladas sauce had a baby and called it tortilla soup… The tortillas were very very rubbery and the only enjoyment was the 2 slices of avocados swimming with 2 kidney beans and 4 kernels of corn .I give it a pig squeal out of 10 .Oink
# 1 Mexican. This is definately my favorite local Mexican restaurant. I like the prices, the quality of food is excellent. My only complaint is that the drinks and meal come out quickly, but when we’re ready to pay, the server always seems to dissapear and I have to flag someone down to get the check. Food is still great and overall the servers are friendly, it just gets busy in there.
Horrible margaritas. If you ever feel like having a few margaritas after work don’t go here! Their margaritas are a rip off, very watered down and hardly any alcohol in them. The food is great though, just always ask for beer.
I love El Portillo. I eat here about once a week. The service is quick, the portions are large (I always take some home for a second meal!), and the food is delicious. Most Mexican restaurants I’ve been too are pretty mediocre, but this place is actually quite good, and it’s not really any more expensive. Lots of unique menu items that you don’t typically see at other places.
We really liked this restaurant! Nice atmosphere, good food, large portions, and reasonable prices!
Semi decent food buy the service was sub par. I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to give me a refill.
