This place is always good. The service is consistently good. We often pop in for a quick bite or a margarita at the bar. We love Mexican so it’s nice to have Papitos.
Just what the doctor ordered.. Recently visited this friendly establishment for some girl time. The restaurant was clean. The staff was very attentive to our needs and the service was timely. I could not asked for a better scenario. I will make an attempt to visit more often. Thank you to the staff for such a pleasant experience.
Disappointed!. So far, Madison is striking out in terms of my restaurant experiences, which is most disappointing! Let me say, first of all, that the woman who greeted me and the gentleman who waited on me were both very nice and attentive! They even returned my Debit Card that I had left with my ticket! The chips definitely have substance to them – thicker than most – so you can easily fill up fast on chips! The salsa was okay – nothing too flavorful or memorable – no kick – just okay! The cheese dip was terribly average – Just plain melted cheese it tasted like – no real flavor either! I guess I’m just used to my Mexican place at home! The margaritas were two for one – I see now why they don’t put the price – At lunchtime, almost $7 is a bit pricey for margaritas, even two for one! If any of you are ever in Gulfport, the Los Tres Amigos on Pass Road has THE BEST MARGARITAS you will find – the frozen have kind of a light frothy texture – delicious! Again, these were okay, a little pricey though I thought!I had the Chicken Fajitas – I couldn’t get over how dry the meat was – the seasoning was good, but the chicken was dry – like it had been sitting out for a while either before or after it was cooked! What I LOVED were the corn tortillas though! Those were wonderful I thought!I’m anxious to try a couple of other places while I’m here. I would go back to Papito’s however to try one of their Quesadillas and to possibly try dessert.
