I watched the owner of this establishment buy a bunch of frozen fish in ziplocks from a man in a pickup truck out of dirty coolers. Nothing was labeled so I’m guessing it was stuff he caught. I sat with my window down beside them. He told her he would see her next week. This was about a year ago.
I did not expect the all-you-can-eat sushi to be fancy, but even with mediocre expectations, I was still extremely dissatisfied. The selection was terrible. When I walked in I looked at the buffet and they had a few options and at least one was tuna avocado. I can make an entire meal out of that roll, so I paid and got a plate. I got the few tuna rolls they had and tried a couple of other things. I had plenty of time, so I waited for them to restock. In the hour I was there the only thing they added was another version of the fake crab garbage, even though they said they would put some more kinds out. When I left, everything on the buffet was the fake crab. No tuna, no avocado, no other fish, nothing but fake crab and I think one had cream cheese. I will NOT be going back.
Surprisingly good hibachi. The chicken, steak, rice and veggies were all at least the quality of the dine in restaurants and at $14 for a combo dinner was half the price. As good as take-out hibachi gets
Red samurai is the best Japanese place in Jackson area. The habatci is the way to go. Never gotten our order wrong, friendly people, great food

We got sushi to go and it was ok, but nothing special. Maybe I’ll give the hibachi a try before writing this one off
The family and I enjoyed the take out hibachi. The food was freshly prepared and they accommodated a few special request. I’ll be back
