I love mellow and visit one everytime I can, but the service at this one was very lack luster. The waitress didn’t know the menu or anything about the draft beers. Our orders weren’t complicated thank goodness bc she didn’t seem too bright. Finally when we went to leave we couldn’t get a large enough to go box for our pizzas so we had 6 total boxes. When asked about why we couldn’t have a large box she said she’s not allowed to go to the back and get one… Really? That’s unbelievable! All of the group I was with have worked in restaurants and were very disappointed.
Mediocre AT BEST an VERY SLOW. I understand they make their food fresh but it is VERY slow. The Staff was RUDE, they messed my order up TWICE. I would NEVER go back.
Yup. Still good. Went here back in school with some friend in 09 and it was good. back for a class so decided to try it out again…I think it got better. pretzels were amazing and the buffalo chicken pizza will make you want to divorce your wife and eat pizza all day
Mellow Review. We had the Greek salad and a medium mushroom pizza and a kid’s french bread pizza. The kids pizza is just french bread with cheese on top with a cup of sauce on the side.The Greek salad was very good, especially the dressing that had some nice seasoning that mellowed the bite of the vinegar.This would have been a Don’t Like if it wasn’t for the sauce. Unlike most pizza places, they really slather on the sauce. It was a heavy, pasty sauce, but nonetheless I didn’t have to ask for extra sauce. The crust was mediocre and the cheese only a subdued flavor. Service was good, started off great, but then she let our drinks run dry and didn’t check on us until the check.
Just OK. I fell in love with their pizzas when I was first introduced to them in Atlanta. When one opened here I was excited. Now, I seldom go, because they are over priced and the dough comes in frozen. Yes, they stretch, and bake it, but it was not made in house.
My friend and I went in on Wednesday night. While there were other open booths, we were seated right next to a group of about 15. Annoying, but whatever. We placed our order for app (spinach & artichoke dip) and pizza (holy shitake) at the same time. Service was slow from the get go, we sat with empty drinks about 10 minutes. Our pizza came out before our dip. Both were good (pizza especially tasted fresh and the cheese blend was great), but still… Apps come before main order! I’ve been to mellow mushroom in other locations and I have to say the service here is the worst I’ve encountered. Bottom line – if you’re familiar with mm, the price won’t shock you, the food here will be good, but the waitstaff and their in attentiveness will drive you nuts.
