This place fixes a mean plate of shrimp/grits! I have never had shrimp and grits like the dish at Mosaic! The food was amazing and their beer options were wonderful.The general vibe was really fun and casual! The night I went, there was a DJ next to the bar, and people had the option to smoke hookah as well.Great food, great music, great beers… What more can you ask for? The only thing I would wish for is a deal on beer samplers and maybe bigger portions (cause I eat a lot)! Otherwise, no complaints. :)Food and drinks are definitely worth trying.
We went here with a group of friends for my husbands birthday. We sat inside and had some hookah and food. The hookah was ok, not the best, but the food was very good. I just wanted something small, so I had the quesadillas, and it was a good portion size!
Visiting From Illinois – LIKE with resevations. The wait staff was very cordial and efficient. The food was very good. But…I ordered an IPA and I got something that tasted like Fat Tire. Just a minor complaint…I’ll drink anything.This was our first experience with Tapas and we just don’t get it. It seems that the more you pay for food the less taste there is to it. My first experience with seared tuna…whatzupwidat? It’s tasteless: Argentinian beef…whatsupwidat? It, too, is tasteless. The food was prepared well, but at $15 a plate it just wasn’t worth it. No more Tapas for us.The decor was deceiving. On the the outside it looked very cosmopolitan. On the inside it was a dark bar & grill.
I loved it. This is a great concept. 3 places in one. I had the Pulled pork and it was amazing, My friend had the seor burger and I had a bite, wow it was probably the best burger I’ve tasted. I love this place and will definitely be back… Great service and food! Give it a try05 Nov, 2014Loved it. I ate at here this weekend and the food was outstanding, I asked if something had changed because the food was better than last time I was here. The manager said that they just brought on board a new chef. we ordered two rounds of tapas dishes and they were all awesome, my favorite was the pork tenderloin and seared tuna. Server was nice and the Manager was very attentive.
Never again. Me and my mom went to have lunch here and we’re completely ignored! We sat at one of the tables on the patio, and for over ten minutes the waiter and waitresses walked past us not even acknowledging our presence. Then another family came and sat down and two workers rushed to their table. I don’t know if it was a race issue or not, but we were both beyond pissed and left. I can’t even tell you about the food and won’t be able to, because I’ll never go back there due to the service!
Terrible Service, Snooty Atmosphere. The servers will only take care of the people they are friends with. Not once did a server come to our table and asked if we needed anything. My date finally went to the bar to order a drink..took almost 20 minutes and it was super weak. Talk about a pretentious crowd and just a snooty atmosphere…maybe because they all seem to have their own personal friendly server who probably is family or go to school together…Never again. The place is trying hard to be classy and it shows..comes off as tacky. Not a place for mature people who know about food, drink and comfortable eating establishments.
