Pricey sure, but it’s a local joint and it’s delicious. Completely worth it.
Richer than Riches. This is a humble little place that has no indoor seating. The menu is a couple of posted printer paper sheets, but unlike a previous reviewer stated, it isn’t that hard to understand. First I’d like to point out that this isn’t really ice cream, its frozen custard. If you don’t know what that is, its ice cream made with egg as an added ingredient. The result is a rich, sweeter taste and a more dense product. If you can finish a large anything from here I commend you. It will hit your stomach like a brick. The menu consists of a few basic flavors like Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry, on top of few more special flavors of the day. The sign says everything is made fresh daily…. its sorta like homemade ice cream. It melts pretty fast once you get it, but its worth the amazing taste. We ordered their signature quakes which are in the style of DQ’s blizzard or Krystal’s Milkquakes. I had the Mississippi Mud which had chocolate custard with caramel and Oreo crumbles. It was outstanding. The place offers milkshakes, banana splits, cones, and snow cones… along with hot dogs and nachos. I will return to try other menu items. The staff I encountered was very friendly. We arrived close to closing time and were not rushed. The window person asked us if it was our first time, and upon learning that it was, let us sample their various flavors of the day before we decided what to order. If you’re looking for a sweet treat, something to cool you down during the summer, or just to increase your chance of diabetes… this is the spot.

You have to order through tiny little windows and it is somewhat difficult to decided what to order, they have pieces of copy paper sized menus stuck all over wall around the windows and there is NO sense of order to what they have. They really need to spend some money on a few decent sized menu boards showing what they have to offer!! And put them where you can clearly see them and not have to stand there trying to read the small print on a small piece of paper stuck on the wall! The custard ice cream is very good. Had the chocolate, 3 scoops! Very YUM!
I love most creameries, lol, but this was pretty badass for a small, non-corporation job. This place hangs w/any larger chain easily.
GOod but pricey. Good ice cream but overpriced.
