Love it. Every time I have been to this restaurant, I have loved the food as well as the prices.
PRETTY GOOD. I am not Vietnamese, but I have been all over Vietnamese restaurants the Biloxi-Ocean Springs area. This restaurant is the best for this Mississippi area.
Would recomend. I have had the soup, and they accommodated my request to have both kinds of noodles, and tofu instead of shrimp. It was accompanied by fresh basil, jalapeno, and lime. I skip the forgettable atmosphere and get my food to go. Warning, the soup is very hot (temperature) so handle carefully.
Not sure why it says permanently closed. We just ate there and the food was really, really good! Interior leaves a bit to be desired, but has the nicest bathroom I have seen in a small, local restaurant. Definitely recommend!
Good stuff fair price. First visit, ordered sum (vermicelli, veggies, meat/stir fried veggies) and it was pretty good. A good amount and a house salad for 7.25 seemed fair as well. Will be back to try other menu items
Now called VK Noodle House. Order (Pho Bo Vien) meatball noodle soup.the Soup was ok and a smaller portion than most noodle houses. When I got to the bottom of the bowl I found a good sized piece of a S/S scruffy with food sticking to it. That changed my mind aboput this place. I mentioend it to the wait staff (to try to figure out if it was teh kitchen or the meatball supplier and got the brush off.So soup with grabage in it. You make the call? It will be a pass for this fellow.
Getting better!. I have to say I really don’t understand why one reviewer said this place is overpriced. I probably eat pho at least once a week at various Vietnamese places in Biloxi and d’Iberville, and Chef Scott’s is maybe a buck over the others. Yes, they are a bit stingy with the condiments- I agree- I always ask for more and they happily oblidge. I order take out from this place often and have tried many of the other soups on the menu. The pho could be a bit more intense, but the other soups are really wonderful. I think they are trying to change up the menu, and the last few times I’ve been things have been improving.
