Was so disappointed in Woody’s tonight. We live nearby and have been here a few times, but tonight my wife ordered the garlic parmesan wings and fried green tomatoes as her dinner instead of an entree. It was a good thing she decided to take the meat off the bone with a fork since they were so messy, because half of the order was not fully cooked. the chicken was bloody inside. We tried to flag down our waiter and let him know but he had a big party and had been missing in action since he brought our food. We flagged down another server and told her the problem and she asked our waiter’s and she said she would let our waiter know. Fifteen minutes after I had finished my food and we were just sitting and waiting our waiter came over with the manager. Who said he would take care of it.All he did was offer more wings which was a big no since there is nothing grosser than undercooked chicken, BIG appetite killer. So instead of taking the wings off the check entirely, which any decent restaurant would do – I worked in restaurant for ten years and raw chicken is nothing to mess with salmonella city! – all they did was deduct 50% from the price of the wings. Unfreakingbelieveable! I doubt we will be returning. Big disappointment. They may have new cooks and while some might use being busy as an excuse, they are always busy and all cooks should know proper handling of poultry. This is how people get food poisoning!

Then I had the honktonk burger. It was good – very messy and huge.
