No air conditioning? In August?. Went last night with my family for granddaughter’s birthday celebration. When we walked in it was hot and I asked about the A/C. They said it was on but was having trouble. TROUBLE? We should have walked out but this is where my granddaughter wanted to eat. Once the hibachi started we went from uncomfortably warm to miserable. Never again. They are multiple hibachi restaurants in the area. The food was good, the environment was miserable and it was not cheap. Call ahead before you go to check on the a/c. Then, I am not sure if I would believe them if they said it was fine unless it is January.

Do not recommend this place!!!. We ate there last night. Way over priced for the food and service!! They automatically add gratuity if your party sits at the table. The chef did nothing but cook the food with no interactionwith the guest. Not even a smile!! Not realizing that they added the gratuity, we tipped good aswe always do, but never again. Do not recommend sitting at the cook table to eat at all!!!!!
CAROL. This Japanese restaurant has the best shrimp fried rice in the world. The staff are always very pleasant. Kyoto’s has great waiters or waitress the are very quick to greet you and service its just great..They treat you like family…Can’t say enough good things about Kyoto’s in Olive Branch Ms.
Mrs. Maybe I went to a different place. We had a party of ten the service was exceptional. the hibachi chef was terrific. he catered to the grandchildren which made the meal more peaceful. the food was good, the steak was exceptional.the menus looked new to me. I also received complimentary ice cream for myself and three grandchildren. Happy, happy, happy.
Worst service I’ve ever seen.. After ordering and waiting for about 30 minutes, food arrived for everyone at the table but me. I inquired and they said they were working on it. After everyone at the table had time to finish their food, I waited for 5 minutes at the podium to inquire again about my food. A lady said they were working on it. I let her know other food (sushi) is still coming out of the kitchen for other tables and our table had time to finish all their food, and mine still wasn’t there. She said, if you want to leave, then leave. Wow. Later, another one at my table tried to resolve it and she yelled at him and made a scene in front of many people. He found out she is the owner. Please don’t eat here!!!! I told several servers, who were nice, that they should find another job and not work for that miserable woman. One said there is nothing you can do with her, she’ll just yell at you. On my way out, several other parties were coming in – so I told them what happened and they left.
If you want to wait at least 45 minutes for your food and only halve of your order shows up, then this is the place to be!We were a table of 6 people and only halve of the table’s food showed up after waiting for 45 minutes! When we approached the owner/manager about it, she yelled & screamed and handled it vey unprofessionally. She made a scene in front of the whole restaurant and bottom line: If you don’t know that the customer is always right, then you shouldn’t own a restaurant! You just lost a lot of customers, lady! Time to change careers!
