I used to love abners but the staff is SO RUDE. I felt uncomfortable asking the girl working to make a new thing of tea… She slung things and made loud banging noises and kept giving me dirty looks. It was very uncomfortable. My chicken tenders were also cold. This was the last time I’ll be visiting this restaurant. Sad since it used to be really good.
Fast food chicken. Standard fast food chicken restaurant. It is nice that you can get grilled strips and not just fried. Friendly servers (both locations). Good location. Open late after football games. Fries could be better. Salads are basic, but cold and crisp.

Comment on the website. Workers/managers have notified head management numerous times, but they honestly are more concerned about saving money than customer satisfaction…
West Jackson Abner’s is RUN-DOWN. I used to absolutely love Abner’s, but I picked some food up to go at the West Jackson location a couple of weeks ago and it was just in an awful state of disrepair. Everything in there was really faded from the sun, cobwebs were along the ceiling, equipment was dusty (even the cash registers were just dirty/dusty), and lots of tables and counter tops had sections pulled lose and missing. Doors were dirty too. It just looked nasty. I hope they fix it soon, or they’ll have more and more folks unwilling to eat there.
