My wife had read about the Oxford Canteen from a tweet by Ace Atkins, a well-known author who lives in the Oxford area. So, today I decided to try out their brisket sandwich and the Fideos along with some toasted coconut bread pudding with caramel sauce. Fideos are noodles with vegetables and meat, although that description doesn’t do Fideos justice. It’s amazing. I truly believe that once you try their food you’ll agree that there is no better food in the city of Oxford.
I’ve tried just about everything on the menu. They probably think I’m some stalker I have been there so often since the opened. The food is great! It’s by far the best fool you will have handed to you through a window. Try it, you will love it.
