Love this place. I often order take out and go pick it up cause I don’t really like the vibes. Don’t let the setting fool you though, the food is really good. My meal of choice is the Thai fried rice with chicken and a hotness level of 3. With that being said you can get any choice of meat and a heat level of 1-5. Another perk of this food is that it’s pretty tasty cold. I had leftovers today and it did the job. The only beef I have with this place is the vibes and the fact they are not open on Sundays. If it wasn’t for the restaurant being connected to a hotel and the weird vibes in there then I would give this a 5. For now it’s a 3.5
We had dinner here on an evening after an afternoon UM game. We got there around 8:30 and were immediately seated. We had the Pad Thai with chicken and Drunken Noodles with shrimp spice level 2. Wow. The Pad Thai was good – and they added green beans, carrots and broccoli at no charge. The DN were sensational – very fresh, the basil was just perfect, and the shrimp were great (I was a little nervous as I’m picky about shrimp.) The service was quick and friendly This was out of the park – had a great meal with no wait, it’s BYOB (they may sell beer but that’s all) so there’s a big savings there, and our entire meal, including tax was under $25. Try to find that elsewhere! I will be back for more DN and to try out other dishes every game weekend. For the price, I’ve not found a place in Oxford that can top it.Note – the location is next to University Inn/the old Days Inn which took me aback at first. However, t he ambiance is nice but it’s very clean and has a large TV for watching sports.
After eating Pick Thai, I am more than pleased & will return again. I will however, never return to Rice and Spice because I didn’t realize how much sodium is in their food! Tone it down R&S! In the comparison of both restaurants, Pick Thai is the obvious winner. Want good Thai that won’t lie? Go to Pick Thai!

The Best Thai Food. I been there several times and I have a lot of impression from the atmosphere, waitress, and foods. My favorite appetizer is Roll J and Crab Angle. The best dish, I chose Pad Thai and Pad See Aew. Moreover, Thai Tea is the best drink you ever had
Fresh and flavorful Thai food. We had lunch at Pick Thai today, and definitely plan to go back. We thought the food was delicious, and very fresh tasting. We ordered Panang Curry at spice level one and it was perfect. We also ordered Drunken Noodles with extra vegetables, and the vegetables were crispy and very fresh. It is a very pleasant restaurant, and we received excellent service.
Great Experience. The few times I’ve been to Pick Thai I’ve loved the food and enjoyed the warm and welcoming attitude of the girls working there. They have great prices and a great environment. The food comes complete with vegetables and anything else you could think of definitely better than its rivals here in Oxford.
