It’s a good thing the food is could because they aren’t exactly friendly. I will say they are efficient. But a smile goes a long way. Cheer up Pirate’s Cove!

The best shrimp poboy around is found right here. This place is tucked away on menge ave. It something about the batter they used that has me hooked! Prices are preety fair too!

We were headed back to TX and came across Pirate’s Cove by accident. I’m very glad we did too. I had the shrimp Po’boy, and was shocked at how great it was! I’ve had shrimp Po’boy before, but where I live you barely get shrimp on the bun. This sandwich was filled with shrimp and lots of flavor. We will be back through and will stop in again. You should too.

I kept hearing how amazing this place was so I stopped in with the wife to get lunch and was severely, severely disappointed. I got the roast beef poboy and bland would be to nice of a word for it and the price was expensive when you add up everything. A few months later I went with my parents because they wanted to try and man was I in the mood for a catfish poboy so I went in open eyed. Again it was just sad, catfish can not and should not be this bland! I will not be going back and when people say Pirate’s Cove, I’ll be sure to set them straight!

Great poboys!. Hard to decide which is the best, roast beef or fried oyster! Roast beef is slices with gravy. Recommend dressed. Very messy and very good. Fried oyster poboy…generous number of oysters. Cornmeal battered and fried to perfection. Another tough choice, fries or onion rings. We suggest both! Grab a beer while you wait…enjoy!

Best poboys in the Pass! Ive been eating Pirates Cove since I was little and went through a bit of withdrawal when I moved away to college, now that I’m back I order Pirates Cove at least once a week. Their Poboys are amazing!

The Pirates Cove serves the absolute best fried oyster poboy in the universe. Good enough to stop one of the 36 trains that go past Pirates Cove each day. The owners are great people. A must when in the Pass
