This is my go to bbq and catfish place.
The place looked sketchy at first since we stopped there around 8pm on a Friday night and it was in a gas station, but the ribs were amazing. Great smoky flavor even without the sauce they had. Baked beans and mac and cheese were good sides. Would stop again if we were passing through.
Best in Town. Don’t let the fact that this place is inside of a gas station deter you from trying it… these people are serious about bbq. The ribs are absolutely TO DIE FOR!!! If ribs aren’t your thing, they also serve chicken, pork chops, fried fish, shrimp, sausage, and turkey legs. The burgers are huge and flavorful. They also offer a daily lunch special that you can’t beat.
If you want a good ribeye sandwich and hand pattied burgers on buttery toasted buns, this is the place to go.
Wow!. The smoked sausage is reason enough to stop here!I’ve not tired the rest but this guy really knows his way arounda smoker for sure!You could just bottle the smell and make a million.Oil Field, local workers, and long lines sometimes, butwell worth the wait.Reasonable prices too.
Amazing Pit Stop. This place is an absolute favorite of my family’s whenever we drive from Tennessee to Louisiana. We stopped there the first time by chance, and were hooked. They’ve got amazing down home BBQ; they’ll even process game for you. My favorite is the smoked sausage… crispy casing with an amazingly succulent filling. Mmm, my mouth is watering!
