The food is great and the service is outstanding! My favorite thing to order is the Two flavored shrimp and the crunchy roll wrapped in soy paper! Samantha and Rachel are the best servers…so request either of them when you go!!
I am new to sushi rolls, but the staff was great in helping me figure out what I wanted. It would be nice if they had a sampler menu for people new to this style of food. Loved the atmosphere, will return soon.
Three Words: Watery Soy Sauce!
Good athenic restaurant. Food is prepared well, and I really like how they set the table with your diner ware. Only drawback is most of the staff can’t speak hardly any English. Everytime that I have went I found it difficult to communicate what I wanted.
Best Sushi around.. New Orleans Roll and the Rocky III Roll are sweet ambrosia. Everything i’ve tried i’ve been satisfied with. The service is above average and the atmosphere is perfect. Good selection of import beer and full bar for those of us who usually arrive thirsty. My favorite restaurant in Laurel.
Food is very good, especially for Laurel. Service is also above average. Important to check prices if you upscale items on a dinner, you may very well pay a lot more than if you had orded it separately. In other words, you really didn’t upscale an item, you ordered it separately and got to pay for both.
BEST IN LAUREL. I’ve been going to Sake Cafe since it opened in Laurel. I love it. One waitress, Samantha, always has an attitude so we never get her. One waitress, Nina, is amazing. She remembers our order even if it’s been over 6 months since we’ve been in there. (She was in China for a while and when she came back she still remembered what we liked to eat. AMAZING SERVICE!) The other waitresses are neither bad enough or outstanding enough to make me remember them.As for the food, I love all of it. I’m a picky eater, but Sake’s menu is so well laid out that I can understand what will be in those weird sushi rolls when I get them! I love the Eel roll, eel cucumber roll, crunchy roll, miso soup, two flavor shrimp, karuma shrimp… just about everything! The Love Boat for Two is a great deal ($30) — enough sashimi and sushi for two people, plus one order of Chef’s Special sushi rolls. This is THE best place to eat in Laurel.
