Great place. I stopped in and picked up some crawfish. They were fantastic. Nice size and spicy. The only problem I have is that crawfish have gotten quite expensive. Honestly though, lobster doesn’t have a thing on it smaller cousin.

We go here frequently since our high school age kids have friends that either work here or hang out on weekends. It’s a nice social atmosphere without as much of the bar room feeling ya get from Shuckers. The setting is comparable to hanging out on your back patio. We have seen many of our neighborhood friends up here and it seems like a very family friendly place. Prices were a but steep a few months ago, but very competitive now. The food quality is probably about a 7/10 for me, so not really mind-blowing good, but not bad either. Contrary to a few other reviewers, I find the heat and flavor of their bugs to be just right. I like how the snow crab has a little more Cajun kick than crab you get elsewhere too. Oh, the small bar has a very good selection too. Nice place!!
Great Crawfish. These were excellent! I will return! The crawfish were delivered hot and spicy, and the opposite of bland. The mushrooms were great! The BBQ was good, but the burgers were blah…but who eats burgers at a crawfish place? (My daughter,that’s who lol) I don’t eat the straight tails either, but there were only a few. This place is legit.
To the person commenting about straight tails, you need to get your facts straight. Its a myth, and its a proven fact that straight tails have absolutely nothing to do with whether they were alive or dead at the time they were put in the pot. Im not gonna say they have the best crawfish I have ever eaten, but they are pretty freakin good and competitive with every other place that cooks and sells them around here, including prices. I hate reviews from ignorant people
If you are looking for a great place to hangout, have a cold drink and a spicy meal, then this is your place!I was a little put off by having to order sides such as corn, potatoes, and sausage separate but understand that not everyone enjoys these. Cost is a little on the high side but not unreasonable.Not a fan of crawfish? I found the boiled shrimp and crab legs to be superior to the bugs themselves. It’s always nice to have options!Smoke free dining is a plus and although the crowd can be a little rural and rowdy, it is always a family friendly environment.
Soggy and stale. This is a,great place to sit and drink beer I suppose, however, the crawfish are terrible. During nice weather it’s great to meet friends on the patio and hangout. Mostly a bunch of college kids and rednecks here. However, the crawfish are WAY over cooked and bland. There seems to be no quality control.
