Not a fan. Went there for my first time last week and I was not impressed. My food was under cooked. My husband was not hungry after seeing how dirty not only the silverware was but his wine glass had lipstick on it. Bless his heart, he tried for a romantic dinner but it just did not happen.
Seafood Lasagna. First time in Salad w house was perfect, so was bread & combine butter. Seafood lasagna tasted like a microwaved noodle cheese & red sauce, missed the seafood part. May try fish special if I ever return..
Great Food. I have been a customer since they opened. I have never had a bad meal. The service has always been very good. I can compare it to anyone’s food and being the best Italian food in this area.
We thought the place was quaint and relaxed. Reminds you of a small Italian Mom and Pop place. The service was good and efficient. The wife ordered the ricotta stuffed shells with white sauce and I the canolloni with red sauce. We wound up switching dishes because the seafood taste in hers was a bit much for her. The only thing I didn’t like about the canolloni was the uncooked celery on the top. I think we would like to go again and try different entrs. However, the tiramitsu was really good!
Best Italian in Town. This is my favorite Italian restaurant in the Jackson area. The prices are great, the portions are huge and everything I have every tasted here has been amazing. I especially love the grilled mushrooms and the seafood lasagna! Because it is a small place, you might have a wait if you come during prime dinner hours on the weekends and there isn’t much of a place to wait except for the center aisle of the restaurant. Because of this, I try to come early and enjoy my meal before the crowd!
The building is nice on the inside… Service is so bad I can not put it into words. I would love to support something local, but I will never return to this place. Thank you
Real Italian Food!. We LOVE Fratesi’s ! The food is always excellent and so is the service! Do yourself a favor and try Fratesi’s.
