Probably the worst gyro I have ever had. I have traveled all over Greece and never had a gyro like this. Also eaten at some of the finest Greek restaurants and sidewalk vendors in New York and I can tell you they wouldn’t serve anyone this poor quality, oily, poorly seasoned stuff. I can’t even call it food.
Very good lamb gyro. Gyro plus drink was $8.64. I did not need a side as it was very filling. The meat could be a turn off for some as it is shredded not sliced but a great flavor.The pita was a touch greasy – needed a hand wash after
Very very good. The gyros are authentic, huge, and messy! Served in wax paper and delicious! Hummus is fresh and tasty, and the pita bread is crazy good. For a bonus, try the feta-mozzarella burger. It’s massive. Plus, you can bring in your own beer or wine. Great place. Thumbs up!
Stopped here on a Saturday evening with a friend. We loved the food. The hummus was delicious and rated as the best either of us had tasted. I got the chicken gyro and my friend had the grilled shrimp gyro with fries. Both were very good. This was my first visit to Krilakis but I will certainly be back.
I ordered a Gyro with fries recently as a to go order. I was impressed by the smells coming from the kitchen and thought the restaurant was clean and nice. Unfortunately I was disappointed in the service and the food. The counter person was disinterested and almost bored in answering my questions about menu items. After getting my food home I found the Gyros to be very bland. The sauce had almost no flavor and did not taste like normal cucumber sauce. The fries were good but that was not what I was most interested in. For my first time visit and probably my last I would say this wasn’t the best Gyro place in this area.
Similar to Keifer’s but I like it much better. The Gyro Salad is always good and I’m a big fan of their pita bread.
Good Greek food!. Have not had a bad thing on the menu. The salads are crisp and fresh, the gyros are really good as well. Even the burgers are really, really good.Seek this place out and give it a try. I should know, I am Greek!(Just kidding, I am not Greek, but nonetheless, the place is great).
