We ate lunch here three times in the last week. I didn’t get the waitress name but she had dark hair and wore glasses. She was excellent, always right there when we needed her. She did a great job of splitting our tab for us and we never waited for anything. She was one of the main reasons that we went back after the first visit.The food was good, had the drunken chicken tenders twice and the cheeseburger the next time. I enjoyed all of them.I would definitely recommend this for anyone.
Do not go here. The food and service is not typical to other Fox n Hound establishments in the area. I went there about a month ago and sent a bad review on the company’s website. They called me back to ask what the problem was. They said they were sending complimentary coupons, which to this day still haven’t received them. If you want to go to a good Fox n the Hound, you must make a trip to East Memphis.
Disappointing. We picked F&H because it was the closest restaurant to the Hilton Garden Inn, where we were trapped without transportation. The servers were friendly enough but the overall service was lacking. We spent more time waiting for food and drinks than we did eating them. We both ordered fish and chips, and agreed that each bite was as much batter and oil as it was fish. The manager came over twice during the meal.. Once before much had happened and once at the end of the meal. At the second visit, we aired our disappointment, and the manager was receptive, but only offered to make it right NEXT time, not THIS time. We’re not from around here, so his concern may have been intended as genuine but, in effect, really wasn’t. It’s an hour or so after dinner and my stomach is still working on the greasy meal.
