Liked it. Another stop on the grand Memphis tour of restaurants. Wifey and I arrived about 7pm and the place wasn’t busy at all. Greeted and seated quickly, looked over the menu and decided we would share the sampler- beef, pork, sausage, pork ribs and beef ribs. Of course BBQ spaghetti on the side. I’ve had meatier ribs, but they were prepared well, the beef and the pork were chopped fine. I was a bit disappointed that the whole platter was covered in ladles of sauce, it made it so much more difficult to taste the meat. I like more of a balance, but the sauce was a little overpowering. If i go back, I’m going to ask for sliced meat and sauce on the side. All of that being said, we still liked it. Not the best I’ve ever had, but it was good. I guess I’m more of a Kansas City BBQ fan. I’ve been making BBQ spaghetti with leftovers at home for years, before I knew about Neely’s so I was really curious to try their version. The noodles were a bit soft, but overall it worked very well. We’d definitely go back.

Where is the Meat?. When I walked in Saturday I should have taken a hint from the fact the girls who were working there were all eating WENDY’s…. I ordered a rack of ribs to go….. The sides of Potatoe salad and Baked beans were good, No complaints there…. Those ribs on the other hand were just dried up bones…. there was NO meat on them and the sauce was not very good….
