Where do I start? The fried mushrooms are delicious! I could easily make a meal out of their shrooms, but why stop there? The garlic knots are ridiculously tasty! Their pizza is great and the entrees are creative! If you venture through the menu, it can get expensive. For just 2, my husband and I spent $70 (including tip), but we both splurged with appetizers and entrees. The atmosphere is epic! Record covers line the walls and great music is always playing! If you’re craving Italian and don’t want the usual chain restaurant, definitely give them a try! Order the fried mushrooms and enjoy!
This place is the definition of a mom and pop pizza shop. Good food, personable staff, and a laid back, family-friendly atmosphere. Lonnie, the owner, was very friendly, and there was a great selection of pizza, pasta, and sandwiches. My fiancee got the super sub, while I opted for the chicken parmesan stromboli. I don’t know if the marinara dipping sauce was house made, but it sure tasted like it. Although I’ve seen bigger strombolis, this one was definitely filling. If you’re looking to support a good, local pizza shop, Lonnie Tant’s will not disappoint.
