Great Food, Terrible Staff. Me and my wife used to go here all the time. We went last Wednesday, and literally watched a bald guy cuss out our server. Highly unprofessional, and very rude. We would come back but we refuse to support a company that tolerates employees that have such low standards for fine dining.
My husband and I dined there for the first time on Saturday 7/1814. First the atmosphere was romantic. Second our service was awesome. Last but not least OMG the food was impeccable. I ordered a 20 oz ribeye steak and my husband ordered the double bone Pork Chop. I must say I am trying not to dethrone my favorite resturant Erling Jensen for this one. The food and the server Steve that served us I give everything a 10. Will definetly dine there soon.
Went for my wife’s birthday. Was pleasantly surprised as service and food were very good. However without the gift card experience prices are over the top. I will go again as long as I have the gift cards.
Double tip!!. All was OK hight price but valuable. Only coming home in France, we saw that our card was charged of 80USD instead of the 70 that we signed for!!!
First time here and I thought it was great. I had the lobster stuffed filet w/ hollandaise and it was the best steak I have ever had. Extra friendly service and very attentive. ( try the Godiva white chocolate creme brle, it’s the best.)
Way Overpriced. I can get a better steak at O’Charley’s. Have been here 2 times and I’ll admit that the steaks had good flavor but what I was expecting was a steak at least an inch and a half thick, not the Applebee’s special. I mean really, paying 30 bucks or more for a steak that wasn’t more than a half inch thick. Sorry, I won’t be back.
River City’s disgrace. There is a reason why the Filling Station in Southaven wants to fire their management company, River City is destroying very fabric of their business. Unfortunately, this management company is also managing Mesquite Craphouse. This restaurant management company ought to be managing Taco Bells. The Mesquite Craphouse will fail because the management company River City has a terminal disease. That disease is called bad service due to poor management. Poor service then turns into bad food because nobody knows or cares what fine dining should be. Mediocre is OK at Pizza Hut when you spend an average of $15 per head but when the average customer spends $100, then the establishment is obligated to be outstanding in service and quality. In the case of the Mesquite Craphouse, they are not even close to being good. The principal owners of this restaurant will learn the hard way by allowing River City to run their investment in the ground. Perhaps they can afford to hemorrhage money but why ruin so many dinners of so many people who go their expecting a fine dining experience. Hard working people can’t afford to be ripped off. It is for those people that I will tell a thousand people never to eat there.
