I was very disappointed with the service from the waiter and kitchen manager on Feb. 13, 2016. We waited 25 minutes for the appetizer and an additional 40 mins for our entree. I ordered the shrimp and grits. Cooking oil was floating on top of my grits! The manager made every excuse as to why my food arrived as such.We were told that the wait was so long due to the volume of customers. There were several empty tables. We were surprised that they weren’t busy being that it was Valentine’s Day weekend. Now I know why! It was our first visit at Mesquite Chop House and will be our last! I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. If I could give a negative star rating…I would!
