Beechwood is a great old school steakhouse and lounge. The ribeye i had was amazing as was my wife’s pork chop. The staff was great. Rocky, the owner treated us like family. I am looking forward to my next visit to Vicksburg and Beechwood!
Excellent place to eat! Amazing steaks and jumbo fried shrimp that have been on the menu for 50 years! A definite must go in Vicksburg…..
The folks manning the grill at Beechwood Restaurant understand the finer points of cooking a steak well — and comprehend the invalue of an overcooked piece of meat. If you’re bored and not quite hungry yet, go stand outside and watch the man on the grill. You will be hungry within seconds. tiedyetravels.com
One of the best meals I’ve ever had. We came here because of a recommendation of a local guy. It was amazing. We had steak. It was worth every penny!!
Tale of Two Restaurants. I had the Beechwood special – filet, I chose scallops for my seafood, and creamed spinach. The food was very tasty despite being just a tad above cold. except the creamed spinach which must have had a a last second nuking. The file was a perfect medium, but not much warmth. The scallops were cooked great – firm, but moist – but even colder than the steak. The spinach was too hot, but the grated cheese hadn’t softened.Service was glacial which is probably why the plate sat out for awhile before making it too the table. Lot of servers rushing around, but not getting our food to the table.I gave it a mild like for the superb flavor of the food.
