Very disappointing!. While in Vicksburg on a golf vacation, 4 of us went to DJ’s for dinner on Wed, 10.29.14. The lone positivefor the evening was our excellent waitress. The food was not very good. A shrimp cocktail was sent backbecause it was inedible and the rest of the food was OK at best. Premium prices for below average food.One opportunity is all this place will get.
I’ve eaten here many times with a friend who always gets his meals comped. The prices are a tad high, but the food is worth it. I love prime rib, and the best I’ve ever had in Mississippi was from this place. YUM!
I’ve been to DJ’s several times, including when it was called Ferriday’s under a different casino. The food was always good, but pricey. My biggest complaint was the service which did not match the bill. Primarily the service was slow, often taking more than 5 minutes to get around to taking drink orders. But now the prices have come down, with a real deal from 5 -7pm — a fixed price meal including salad, entree, side, and dessert. However only recently have they moved the rest of their menu from a la carte. So now you get a salad and side with any entre. That is much appreciated.Our last visit was the best. Service was great as was the food. The spinach/cheese stuffed chicken breast was good as was the blackened snapper. Creamed spinach is my favorite side, but there are lots of choices. There is a nice selection of appetizers including several with large shrimp. The chop chop salad is very unique in the micro-fine slices of vegetables. DJ’s is a fine place for a special night out. The price reductions and service improvements make it right at the top of what Vicksburg has to offer. I’d put DJ’s in the ballpark with Anchuca and Cedar Grove.

Great Food and Service. Wow!! DJ’s Steak and Seafood offers great food for a great price. The service is absolutely first class. If you are looking for a great steak or any seafood dish, DJ’s Steak and Seafood is definitely the place to dine. What more can you ask for. Great food, atmosphere, and service all in one establishment. Hurry to check it out!
The Steaks are cooked to perfection everytime. Wanda and Betty are the friendliest and make a mean Martini.. Love the Apple
The Best Deal In Town!. If you are looking for a great meal for not alot of money, then you should check out DJ’s Seafood and Steaks located just inside the lobby of DiamondJacks’ Casino in Vicksburg. They have this great early bird special offered every day from 5pm-7pm for only $18.99! You get your choice of 4 different entrees- petite filet, seafood pasta, pork pane, or gouda and spinach stuffed chicken. With your entree you receive a salad, 2 sides, and a small dessert- you should try the fried strawberries. The portions are huge, and I promise you will not leave disappointed.
