  Won’t go there again. Recently went to dine here with friends and ordered the Seafood Platter which is suppose to come with oysters, shrimp, catfish, stuffed crab and scallops. When my dish came there was no oysters or scallops and when asked the waitress said they were out so they gave me an extra piece of fish. If I had known they didn’t have everything they listed on the menu I would have order a less expensive dish. Besides that the food was very overcooked when I asked that my entree be lightly fried. The fried green tomatoes were terrible as well and not cooked properly. They used some kind of pasty batter on the tomatoes.

  One of Vicksburg’s best restaurants. Great for lunch too.. Toney’s is one of Vicksburg’s best restaurants. It’s a white tablecloth kind of place but not overly fancy. Wait staff are always friendly and attentive. Gumbo is probably the best in town. Onion blossom is good too. I usually get the Toney’s fried catfish which is the best fried catfish I’ve had in town. Served with salad, roll, and your choice of side, it’s a great meal for the price. But don’t go to Toney’s only for dinner, lunch is great too. At only $8 (includes drink and tax) you get soup, salad, entree and 2 sides. An excellent business lunch.

  This restaurant is SUB-par. Seriously, not good at all. I’m just glad that all I got was a salad, let’s just leave it at that.
