Was really looking forward eating here because of all the great reviews… But was a little disappointed. It wasn’t terrible by any means. But the pulled pork, beef, chicken, and ribs were all bland. The sauce was okay. Sausage was probably the best thing there! Sides were all just okay. If this is the best BBQ in Branson…well, I won’t be eating any more BBQ here!BTW, the staff and restaurant itself were great.
My husband and I are from Kansas City and this is the best BBQ we’ve had in awhile! Such good food, and very clean and have a very friendly staff! We will be back! We come down to Branson often this is one of our new favorite spots!
I can’t think of a bad thing to say about this place. All the meats are amazing. Sides are good, but who cares about sides?! If there’s a big line, don’t worry. The staff turns the place over pretty quickly. May be a bit pricey, but it’s a tourist town.
Outstanding BBQ and burgers. Best of both in Branson, my kids request it ever time we stay at Big Cedar. We always order the Smoked Pit Plate and a couple burgers to share. Friendly staff and great food, you can’t go wrong with that.
The best pulled pork I have ever had. The best. Perspective, I take trips especially to eat all types of BBQ. Texas, Memphis, KC, Carolinas, etc. I think my own pork is pretty dang good, but Dannas beats mine. Got recommended by a friend and totally caught me off guard. It’s a tourist town but this place is legit. May go back tomorrow. It’s that good.
Service was great. Those folks are running around and never slow down for a minute! Clean place. The pulled pork was a bit dry, but overall the food was good. Actually the rolls were the best part. I didn’t care so much for the cole slaw or the bbq beans. The chicken was the only thing I actually got a smokey grill flavor from.
Stopped at Danna’s BBQ because a friend recommended it to us. My wife and I both had the ribs and we’re both very disappointed. I’m sure their other food is good based on the looks of what others were getting. Food was extremely quick, almost to quick for what we got. Also wasn’t expecting to order at the register before we sat down.
