Waiters were doing loose talk with each other in Punjabi…Being a Punjabi myself I could easily catch their conversations. This is a disrespect to the customers..I ordered Pudina TIkka Masala and Karahi Paneer…and they delivered Karahi CHICKEN instead of PANEERIt was our anniversary and our mood was spoiled ….My wife had to wait for replacement dish…as she does not eats non veg…Non Veg dish was nice but veg was not…. please teach your waiters to show some courtesy and respect to customers….
Went last night, had great service, food, & view of the airport. They even went so far as to comp an appetizer and desert without reason. Made us feel welcome in an unfamiliar culinary environment.
Great ambience Sub par food. The food was just plain tasteless but pricey. I have to call out the aloo paratha (stuffed potato bread) specifically. I did not know before eating here that aloo paratha could be brittle with very less stuffed potato. It tasted more like a papad than a paratha. So did the tandoori roti. The curries lacked flavor. Overall very bad, extremely overprice food
Yes!. My wife and I had their lunch buffet, and it was excellent! Nothing was a culinary revelation, but everything was very solid. My wife is spice-averse, so eating at Indian places can be problematic. However, India Palace manages to offer tasty buffet items without setting your mouth ablaze. The location is a little weird. It’s on the 11th floor of a kind of old, quasi-sketchy Best Western. But, the decor is quite nice and the view of the runways is excellent.Bottom line: This will be a staple for my wife and I whenever we fly out of STL. Tasty food plus good views makes this place a winner!
Great view, food ok. In terms of food, there are better Indian restaurants out there. However, India Palace still has the best view and that’s an advantage not easy to shake.
Love this place!. Being new to Indian food, I was so impressed by this restaurant. The dcor is fun, and the buffet is amazing. From the basmati rice to the chicken korma, tandoori chicken and naan, I definitely did not leave hungry. Even my parents, who usually avoid anything with flavor, absolutely love the food.
Marvelous!!. This is a jewel and treasure of a restaurant. The quality of the food is amazing. The complexity of the sauces are intoxicating. The Tikka Masals sauce is to die for, the Korma sauce is simply amazing. They are Zagat rated for a reason, because they are masterful chefs. The lunch buffet is the bargain of the century at 10.00, and gives you a chance to try several great dishes. I talk with out of towners that dine there and claim it is one of the best in the country. I do agree!! Try it, you won’t be dissapointed.
