This is the best place to eat in St. Joe. The food is consistent and delicious. They have one of the best spinach salads I’ve ever had. However, I usually get the salad bar which is always fresh and it includes 2 soup options. They always have several specials on the menu but I usually go with the prime rib. The atmosphere might be outdated but its warm and inviting. The service is always great and I’ve never had a bad meal at the Fredrick inn.
Great food. We go there every time we are in town…always get a good mealthey cater a party for us every year also and everyone is very happy with the choice.
Building is over 100 ans great in local history. Equally great food and service. Dara and Tina are awesome!

Excellent casual or special occasion. Fredrick Inn Steakhouse is well-known for its soup & salad bar (2 soup choices, many unique salads, different every evening) available at dinner. Lunches cover everything from meat-and-three to very good sandwiches and fantastic desserts. They offer some Cheesecake Factory items too. Full bar, and smoking in the bar, which is one of the reasons I go there. Super appetizer selections and some of the best service you will find in St Joe. Did I mention the homemade rolls? Plain & cinnamon! Fantastic whole fried catfish, twice-baked potatoes, spinach salad (alternative to salad bar), steaks and less pricey entrees available, many in 1/2 sizes for the smaller eater. Excellent cheddar crisps (or fried cheese balls or curds if that’s how you know them.
