Haven’t had a bad meal here yet! All their sandwiches are great, their tenderloin with brisket on top is one of my favorites. The homemade potato chips ( hi HO chips) are always a good and safe bet or a side dish. Beer is cheap and the atmosphere is always pretty calm and nice. Oh and if you need a taste of the state fair don’t hesitate to order a fried twinkie!
Good food. Fun bar. WenT to the Ho for lunch. I had the Cuban sammach and the SO had the Ho burger. Started out with Blue Ho chips. Good portions, could have had more cheese and bacon on the chips though. Burger was good. Grilled and hand pattied. The Cuban was excellent. Shredded pork roast, salami, pickles…darn good. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and homemade goodness of the HiHo!
The food was great in the past but since the replacement of long time cook I would only recommend drinking only.
Good food and a fun place– best bar in St. Joe!
