Passing through St. Joe and I really wanted some pizza. Was going to try a couple of others, but one was a mall food court pizza, and one was closed so I ended up here. The waiter was great and the pizza was very good. The menu was eclectic, but they will modify and make what you want. I recommend this, but it is a little pricier than I would normally pay for pizza.
Frozen pizza quality. I went here for the first time because I wanted to try something different and I was very disappointed with my burnt pizza and frozen pizza quality ingredients (I’ve seen the same seasoning and hamburger in frozen pizzas before). Don’t believe the hype, this place sucks.
Mixed feelings. The atmosphere is great! Rustic, warm, and open. Ordered an appetizer, a garlic bread with balsamic drizzled on top. It was very thin and burnt more than it should have been. A dipping sauce or oil would have helped it out. The pizza selections are diverse, with many fresh ingredients. Reasonably priced if the toppings were more plentiful. Pizza serves two persons, a larger size option would also help.
Great Pizza. Great pizza. Like from Europe. Different for St. Joe and that is a good thing, Service a little slow, but getting better each time.
Haven’t had pizza like this since I was a kid in Pittsburg. It is simply perfect! I hope st joe can handle it!
Il Lazzarone. The food was great, but the service was poor. Normally my husband and I are not picky, but having worked in the restaurant industry, we notice poor customer service. No one ever asked how we liked our food, checked back in to see if we wanted a second beverage or asked if we wanted a dessert. All would have been overlooked, but then our waiter had to ask us what we had ordered when he rung us up. There were only 5 other tables with customers, and he wasn’t the only server. It just felt like a horrible cross between a nice sit down restaurant and a Pancheros.
Fantastic!. The food was delicious and atmosphere are is absolutely wonderful. Thank you for delivering quality to St. Joseph. I wish you many years of success!
