My husband and I were told about this restaurant via a good friend, and let me say, it was the best!! We will be forever customers. The food, autosphere, employees, management, price, menu selection, is the BEST by far. Even The Hill in St. Louis, doesn’t come close. Whether you live near or far, it’s worth the drive.

Poor quality, overpriced, bad service. We just gave this restaurant a second chance. I’m sorry to say there will not be a third. I am one who will pay for good food, but this is high price low quality. We also watched the host turn away several customers when there were only 3 or 4 tables being used in the entire restaurant.

Delicious in every way!. Friendly and efficient staff. Nicely presented cuisine and outstanding wine! Relaxing at-mosphere and great place to stop for a glass of wine and chat with a friend!

Excellent. I have dined at Ciao on two different occasions, once with my boyfriend and once with a group of girls. Both times the food was delicious and the service was excellent. The atmosphere is very nice, too. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a fine dining experience in Cape Girardeau.

Welcome Addition To Cape Girardeau. We had the privilege of dining at the newly opened Ciao on Halloween evening. From the wine selection, to the appetizer, to the entres, and finally the dessert course, all was well. We were warmly greeted by Gabriel Ruggieri who continued to be very helpful with our wine selection and menu choices. The liver pt was outstanding, the calamari a fresh take, the beef tenderloin so tender it melted in your mouth, Pasta Bolognese very good and the tiramisu excellent. Our waiter, Justin, provided good service. A fine dining experience which is very lacking in Cape Girardeau. Thank you Sue and Gabriel for opening this wonderful restaurant! The decor is very warm and inviting also. We will be back!

Finally Good Italian in Cape. I left the house Saturday night hungry. I found this place on accident. They weren’t actually open for normal business, but had pre-opening night. I did not have a reservation, but luckily they let me eat at the bar. Let me caveat by stating that I was stationed in the Army at Camp Darby, Italy for two years from 2006-2008. The base is about 15 minutes away from Pisa, in the Tuscany region, so I know good Italian. This place is great. I started with the liver pate. It came in a jar that they do themselves with some crustini. I didn’t finish the pate, so I took the rest home with me. I then had the fettucini alla fruiti di mare. It was fresh and delicious. I then capped off with the tiramisu, which was heavenly. The staff was very polite as well. They conversed with me the entire time. I am not a drinker anymore, so I didn’t have any of the wine or beer, so I cannot comment on that. It is an upscale place, but they didn’t make me feel out of place in jeans and a t-shirt. The prices were reasonable as well. Bottom line, the best Italian food in Cape.

Amazing food and good service. Gabriele Ruggieri was my manager at Via Napoli in Disney .. It was such a pleasure to hear his worldwide experience . He pushed me to travel and learn more about the hospitality world
