Not very Good. I have been hearing ppl from all sides saying how wonderful and great priced it is and the drinks were Well made, staff was nice as Well. M e and my family went there for the first time today around five pm. A little busy but it was dinner, not good at all the only thing that was good was the fact of the patio. Pricing was OK. But food was horrid and right down to the cold chips. I even felt that the server was annoyed we were there and that it was So busy on a Tues.I never do this but this was horrible!!
Shortened Happy Hour times 🙁 but I still love it!. We walk here probably once a week and they just shortened their happy hour times to 3-7pm (darn it!), which includes half-priced apps and $2.99 frozen margs. And I cannot express how much I love their flavored frozen margs (you can blend any of the flavors: lime, strawberry-FAVE, mango, guava, pomegranate, banana, pina colada, and maybe a few more.) Love the quesadillas, yolandas, and el sol dip with beef and beans. Love the atmosphere, friendly staff, and they are getting ready to open the upstairs for large groups and banquets.26 Aug, 2014Two words…. Frozen margs – Best in town!
Great food, awful service. The food and the drinks are amazing, however, service gets increasingly worse with every visit. We needed margarita refills for half an hour and our server never came and checked on us. We asked a different server to grab our server for us and still she did not come. It was not busy at all. Finally, we got frustrated and had to go up to the counter to ask for our check and a box (which the server never offered considering we had not seen her for so long). When we left we saw about 5 workers sitting on their phones in the hallway, I assume also ignoring their tables. I have waited tables for 5 years and it is easy to see the difference between busy servers and lazy servers and I’m afraid lately El Sol has had the latter much more often. If the service was even half as good as the food and drinks I would come here much more.
Worst Mexican ever! Can’t believe people even eat this crap and think it’s good! The margaritas aren’t what real margaritas look or even taste like! Margaritas aren’t suppose to look like midori. Out service sucked! We ordered dip and never got it! The food was bland as hell and Taco Bell is better than this place. My skinny margarita tasted like straight lime juice out the green bulb! Don’t go here unless you like food that taste like crap and margaritas that aren’t up to par!
Cold food. Went there with a group of nine people, and took about an hour for our food. Not that big of a deal, but our food came out cold. Told the manager and he didn’t seem to care and was just like we can make a new one that’s really it. He wasn’t friendly neither was our waitress. They for sure lost all of our business.
CasitaBob. First time today. Service was good, but their salsa served with chips tasted like tomato sauce, very little to no flavor. No fresh garlic for table side prepared Guacamole not a big deal. Margarites on rocks tasted like limeade. Their menu did show Pasola on Saturdays and Sundays, we will have to try it soon. Will let you know
New place. Kinda bland food. Excellent service
