The food here is fantastic. They are not serving your basic sandwich here. Don’t look for friendly, sociable staff here though. They will take your order and bring your food but that’s about it. If you are in a hurry, this is probably not the best place to eat. If the only person working is a guy, walk out and try another day.
Lots of lattes. The Snickers Lattes are delicious! There’s lots of other fun latte flavors, like Oatmeal Cookie and Brownie, I believe. There’s paninis–I tried the Apple Chicken Panini, and it was good. There are a couple of salads to choose from. I’ve tried the Southwest Salad, and it was yummy. You can get combos; you can choose 2 items, salad, sandwich or soup. I noticed previous reviews mentioned items that were not on the menu when I was there…cupcakes and appetizers, for example. There were mostly paninis, 2 salads & some soups.The restaurant is very clean and the decor is pleasant. Be careful when ordering from the special board. I ordered off of it and was surprised when I got my bill. I asked if the special board was still good, as it was still standing in the front of the restaurant. I was told that it was and I asked why I was charged more than the special price. I was told that those prices were from 11-3. That info was omitted from the price listing on the board, and when I asked the employee about the specials, that info was omitted again.

The food here is wonderfully prepared and delicious. Socials is found in a nice location in downtown Cape, an the atmosphere is nice. However if the food was not so tastey I would probably not come back, because the service is not welcoming. I took my family there a few months ago and we all felt very rushed to order our meals.
Socials Cafe. Socials is a FABULOUS cafe in downtown Cape. It is welcoming and comfortable, and the food is delicious. Everything is very fresh. Socials recently catered a party for my family and it was outstanding. Prices are also great!
