We have been there twice and the food is good. It comes out very fresh and hot. Will be going back there again soon. My boyfriend loves the Thai Duck Curry and I love the pineapple chicken rice.

Worth a try. Went with a group of 6. The place is smaller and decorated nicely. They have an extensive menu with lots of choices. Everyone in the group enjoyed the food. I got the pad Thai which was quite flavorful and prepared well. Also the food was served at the proper temperature. The service was good if not especially quick. Not a problem for us since we don’t like being rushed. The price point is about $13-$20 but the quality is good.

One of my favorites. I love Thai, and as a consultant, I have the luxury of eating Thai food all over the world. I have to say that Addie’s is in my top 5 anywhere, and definitely my favorite in St. Louis. My husband and I ate there recently. The service was prompt and friendly. We asked for recommendations received excellent feedback. We shared a meal for two, which seemed like a good value at $50 total for appetizer, soup, entree, and dessert.

Not going back. I have been to a lot of Thai restaurants and concider Thai as one of my favorite cuisines. Had heard a lot of good things about this place, so I went last night with a friend who also really likes Thai and is no stranger to the food. My friend ordered Pad Thai and I go the Pad Se Ewe. We also ordered Chicken Satay as an appetizer. The service was really slow. It was over 20 min before we got our appetizer ,which was really good. We finally got our food. I should mention there was only one other table in the place, so we couldnt figure out why things were taking so long. When we got our main dishes, my friend tried her’s and was stopped by the really strong odor of her Pad Thai. She tried some, but found it to taste really off and odd. We finally go the attention of our server and told her about it. She immediately said, oh maybe you are not used to this kind of food. My friend informed the server that she has eaten Thai many times and that Pad Thai is one of her favorites, but this is dish was not right. The server also made some comment on how they follow the recipes there (not sure what she meant by that). Any how my friend had to order something else, Drunken Chicken, which was good, but we still had a little wait for that. The server never took away the dish that she didn’t like and let it sit there. When we were finishing up, she asked if we wanted it boxed up to take home. Really??? When we got our bill, they didn’t take of the dish that my friend couldn’t eat and charged her for both dishes. When we protested, the server said well that is what your ordered so we have to charge you. I explained that she took one bite and couldn’t even eat it and that she should not have to pay for something that didn’t taste like it was ok to eat. I also told her that I have never been to a restaurant that would not take a dish off the bill if the customer felt it was not good. I was a server for a long time and never charged a customer for a dish they couldn’t eat. After she said she would talk to the manager (we heard a bit of yelling in the kitchen) they took it off the bill. After the really slow service, and I will say expensive food, more expensive than many other Thai places I have been to, and being charged initially for a dish that was not edible, I won’t be back. Thai Kitchen, Thai Cafe and many others will be getting my business.

Inconsistent. I am a long time customer of Addie’s Thai House….but the inconsistency of the food quality may turn me into a former customer. As many people noted, it isn’t cheap, which was OK when the quality was outstanding. The last several times I’ve been in, the quality has been poor. I used to host dinner parties where we sample many of their dishes….I can’t do that anymore because the quality is SO inconsistent. They had better get their Chef situation in order…fast.
