Food is awesome, portions are insanely large, and price is VERY reasonable. This is what resteraunt Italian should taste like. Just simple FRESH food with no frills. Outstanding. Try Sugo’s in Frontenac as well….same owner.
Asked for a table away from a party with kids. They provided this and the sat the ONLY parties with kids on either side of us. This did not make me happy.Fettuccini was very good. The pizza was fair. They put onions in all their red sauces. I don’t know how to found fresh basil with NO flavor at all.
3rd time, still impressed. This is our third visit. Delicious food, great service(Sarah). All around wonderful experience. I just love this place.05 Oct, 2014Yummy. Second visit and just as pleased. Lots of choices for Italian food in the Valley, but Babbo’s is the most authentic with large portions and decent prices.
I just ate the largest lasagna in recorded history…and enjoyed every last bite. Good salad (Del Pietro) and a history of dining that has served generations of St. Louisians. Service was grand & attentive. I’ll be back for sure!
Great Food!. I have eaten at Babbo’s several times and the food is awesome! The chicken spedini, and spaghetti and meatballs are excellent. My husband got the lasagna and loved it, there was a huge piece. The salads are very good also. Our service has always been good. The waiting area is non-existent and they will not seat you unless the whole party is there, weird? They could really use a larger space.
Babbo’s- Not for VEGANS!. We ate at Babbo’s tonight, Great service, NOT VEGAN friendly!!! Very small wine pour.
