Horrible service… plan to have a very long dinner. The food was amazing! The service was horrible. Our dinner took over 2 1/2 hours, and not by our choice. It seemed like our table fell into a black hole between courses. No follow up from the waitress, and an inordinate amount of time to wait for courses. In addition, for a restaurant with a wine bar, we were disappointed that our waitress knew nothing about the wines, seemed put out of her way when we asked for the cabernet sauvignon we chose from the wine bar to be chilled for a bit (instead of served warm), and then proceeded to dump our wine in a large bucket full of ice so that every time we poured the wine (the waitress never once asked or checked our bottle) it dripped all over the table unless we used our napkins to wipe it off. Now, in a certain level restaurant I would expect that. But for a restaurant that touts its wine selection and knowledge, and has a fairly pricey wine and menu selection, it was ridiculous. There are too many good restaurants in the St. Louis county area to go back. Definitely would NOT recommend.

The service has been average to low but our visit today will be our last. The waitress was beyond rude!I guess having two tables to wait on at noon was just a little much for her. Well from now on she will have a few less customers to deal with, and it appears they need all they can get. It’s really to bad… great idea, wine and menu, just poor employee selection.
