Above average, but not great.. Spending time in West County the last couple of weeks for week. Someone suggested this place for a little bit more of an upscale place, as opposed to a mac grill. It was that, and the food was good. However, it didn’t really have a lot of zing I guess. I suppose Chicken Parm can only be varied so many ways. This one was exactly what you’d expect, although the chicken breast was very large. So for a good Italian meal this fits the bill, just dont expect anything mind blowing in my opinion.

I say this is great, fresh Italian food, after having spent a year in Sicily. This is authentic, not Olive Garden. Great service. Not a romantic location but once you’re inside & tasting the food, you wont care.

BEWARE PLEASE!!!. A friend of mine worked there and he would NEVER eat their food because the chef aka the owner gianni never woro gloves, never washed his hands, was cross-contaminating, + he frickin SMOKED CIGARS WHILE COOKING FOR HIS GUESTS!!!!! YUCK!!!!!!!!
Gianfabio’s is Still My Favorite Place!. Consistently a delightful place! Wonderful staff, yummy menu and outstanding service. Gianfabio’s remains one of my all-time favorite restaurants in STL. Restaurant is a non-smoking throughout as of August 1.Be sure to leave room for dessert!
Awful. Consistently bad pasta. Don’t know why I tried it twice. I guess I wanted to give them a chance.
