Walleye fresh, grilled just right; vegetables steamed, Apple crisp tart like Moms!
Great customer service, great wine selection and the food was good every time.
First time-Last time. We had a party of 6 and were seated at a table on a busy outside corner. I had to duck inward every time a waiter passed by serving another patron. Of the 6 meals ordered only 2 were halfway decent. A strip steak was fatty and apparently the chef didn’t know what medium was. Bloody rare is not medium. Two of our guest were looking for a red sauce pasta dish. Red sauce wasn’t on the menu but the waitress said the chef would be happy to make a dish for them with red sauce. The other thing he didn’t know was that red sauce and white sauce mixed is not a red sauce. One of the guests ate in silence while the other sent their dish back to the kitchen and ordered something else. My dish was the Guiness Beef Pie which was described as having fresh veggies and a creamy gravy covered with a pastry type crust. The gravy was as thin as water, not creamy, and the dish was pitifully small. The little beef and veggies inside was about 3 tablespoons full. The waitress did her best but the house couldn’t help her. Will never return.
Just walked out of Scarecrow because of asshole bartender Kirby! The glass of Pinot noir tasted flat and when told he said there’s nothing wrong with it!After complaining he finally poured a new glass and started throwing and slamming things down we paid for three glasses of wine and left them!Anyway, we ended Gitos a block away. And they’re on happy hour even on weekends! Won’t go back until that asshole Kirby is gone! Bartender Kathy could teach him the importance of a customer!
Always good for lunch. I’ve been here a few times for lunch and have always enjoyed it. They are setup as a bar and grill but have a number of unique items on the menu. I tried their bison burger and it was great. Their roast beef au jus was also very good on another visit.
Great food and a great atmosphere. Check put their special events!
What can I say? Everything was awesome. Had the Scotch eggs, hard-boiled eggs, wrapped in sausage and fried with a Guiness dip and the blue cheese n’ bacon burger. Seriously good food with a great selection on tap. Of the 18 beers on tap, at least six are local craft beers. Would highly recommend, wether you’re in the area or not.
