I’ve never found better Thai food in St. Louis, and I’ve looked. I go here a lot with my girlfriend, we always get the pad Thai with tofu and the red curry with tofu (we are both vegetarians). The curry is not drowned in coconut milk like in a lot of other Thai places, and they arnt afraid to make the food spicy if you request it that way. Highly recommend.
Disappointing. I had the luxury of eating at Thai Sawadee and Addie’s Thai in the same week. Bottom-line is that Addie’s is far superior. I’ve eaten at Thai Sawadee twice, and both times I’ve been underwhelmed with the food and surprised that mediocre quality came with such a high price. This time I had Lemongrass soup and Yellow Curry. Both the soup and the curry were watery. Neither had an especially appealing taste. The veggies in the Yellow curry were mostly potatoes and all were left in very large chunks. My total for the meal (including crispy rolls) was over $30.
GREAT PLACE!. I’ve been coming here since they’ve opened since my office is right around the corner. I have NEVER had bad service or a bad meal. Without fail the service has been excellent and the chef has even come out to chat on occassion, with many of the diners. They accommodate special orders with a smile and go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating for allergy and diet restrictions. The food is fresh and beautifully presented and some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. The restaurant is clean and neat and decorated simply and beautifully. We will keep coming back and I highly recommend everyone try it.
Terrible service!!. If you expect good and nice service, don’t go there. Waiters are very mean and rude.
DEEE-LISH!!!!! My husband and I just had lunch here. The Thom Kha (coconut soup) was awesome. Also the basil and shrimp fried rice as well as the panang grouper were excellent. Good service, good food!!
I love this place. The Coconut soup with chicken is absolutely addictive and the pad Thai is flawless. I order the shrimp & chicken pad Thai and substitute tofu. The tofu are big cubes, nicely crowned & crispy inside and firn & creamy inside, not rubbery at all. I liove that it’s easy to eat here for lunch. The food comes out fast and the service is excellent. The chef has even come out to chat on one of my visits.
