Small place, but good experience. Had the bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin with roasted potatoes and applesauce. Really delicious. Decent selection on tap. Would recommend!
Delicious Food. Any discussion of the best burgers in St. Louis is incomplete without consideration of The Hangar Grill. Their burgers are delicious. Time after time they have been perfectly cooked. The burgers are so good I almost always order one. However, I have also ordered chicken sandwiches, brisket, steak sliders, and salads. All have been delicious. They have good lunch specials, too. I have eaten at The Hangar Grill numerous times and have never had less than excellent service — even when they were packed. The people are nice. The food is delicious. This place is GREAT!
Oh my! Stop by on Friday for the Smoked Brisket on Texas Toast. Awesome! Great neighborhood spot. Owner – Bob is a big music fan. He’s booking live music on Fri nights. Definitely coming back.
I was there for the first time a few weeks ago with some friends. Our server was very knowledgable about the menu and drink selections. Everyone at our table would agree when I say they make a great burger! Our server insisted that we try the wings. Though none of our party are big wing eaters, they were well worth the try. I was also pleased to see Schlafly products on tap. The Summer Lager is a great choice with their hand pattied burgers. I will say though, I thought the interior of the place was tacky…ski lodge-ish. I returned Monday for a beer and the place was being remodeled. My wife and I are excited to see the finished product.
I frequent The Hangar Grill weekly, and must admit to having a soft-spot in my appitite for the Gyro sandwich served w/ cottage cheese. The meat is as tender as it is delicious and bread is equally joy-filling as a great compliment to the sandwich. The fellow diners that visit with me enjoy the BLT served with steak fries. It is a HUGE sandwich and one that is superior to other BLTs that I have seen elsewhere. The drink specials and pricing are very reasonable and affordable; especially later in the evening. Wednesday’s trivia game is a big local favorite that provides fun for the entire place, as most everyone participates in a jubially competitive challenge of whits.
